Bilateral music is proven to reduce stress, improve cognitive functioning and facilitate healing. During bilateral stimulation, the alternating left-right pattern activates both hemispheres of the brain, allowing them to communicate more effectively with each other. Activating both sides of the brain allows for the processing of memories, emotions, and incidents that are stuck in the nervous system.
There is a lot of free bilateral music online. YouTube or a Google search will provide many options. Most of the streaming music services also have a selection of bilateral music.
